Once a great philosopher named Sigmund Frued said, “most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.” Blaming the fast food industry for the epidemic of obesity, is people way avoiding responsibility for their own bad decision. As a human being, you have the freedom to feed yourself what ever you want; however choosing the right choices is your own personal responsibility. Everyone should be able to choose for themselves and their family the food that is right for their specific lifestyle. It ludicrous and irresponsible for a person to blame a business for promoting their products. Although fast-food restaurants are factor of the growing obesity crisis in the world, it is the people who make the ultimate choice to eat unhealthy processed food vs delicious homemade meals.

It is appalling, how a fourth of U.S population chooses to stop by a fast-food restaurant everyday knowing the food that restaurant offer is nothing but harmful for their body. Ignoring all the warning about fast-food, people still go there on their own will to eat the greasy hormone filled meat just because they are cheap, tasty, and convenient. Knowing that these outside meals are addicting and fattening, also cause many chronic deceases such a diabetes, doesn’t discourage people from eating fast-food. This shows how ignorant and incapable people are to make right choice of consuming homemade meals; thus proving people are just irresponsible.

During an experiment in the movie, it is said that kids can recognize Ronald McDonald easier than they spot Abe Lincoln. It is a sad truth, however fast-food business can’t blamed for their frequent advertisements; they doing whatever they can to be on the top. They use toys and kid’s meal to lure kids to their business, but it is duty of parent to make sure to provide their kids with healthy food. As parents, they should limit families intake of fast-food and prepare home-made meals for their children. So it shouldn’t matter that McDonald's distributes more toys per year than Toys-R-Us to get children to eat at their place, parents should take responsibility have complete control over what their kids eat.
