When dependent requirements are transferred to shop floor systems, work orders are planned based on resource and capacity availabilities. Once the work order is created and allocations are made, all necessary information is sent to the ordering department to replenish stock, while any additional information is sent to vendors or management locations for sale. Once materials are available, each stage of the process will receive instructions based on specifications of the order or required handling.

For a company such as Disney to determine how to limit wait times through perceived time has drastically affected customer acceptance of the park. Customers are happier with their experience because they are no longer being kept in the dark about wait times, expectations, and having to cold wait. By offering some entertainment for waiting guests, having posted times, and actually moving times slightly faster than those times posted help increase customer satisfaction. Offering more attractions and the fast pass ability also help increase customer satisfaction because people are perceiving their time in line to be much less than the actual time. The actual perception would be much more pronounced at Disney if there were not these favors. People would be left to stand in line all day without any knowledge of how long they must wait to get on an attraction. There would also be more unhappy customers because without other amenities to help distract people from their wait time would make the actual wait time more pronounced. With customers having options in which the perceived time is less makes Disney more profitable. Happy people are likely to spend more time at the park and visit the shops and restaurants because they are no longer stressed about not getting to all the attractions during their
