A customer and an employee are happy to be safe after surviving a violent robbery in a North Carolina convenience store. Surveillance footage shows a man, who is wearing jeans and a hoody with a jacket, casually unholstering a hidden gun and taking another man waiting at the cash register hostage. The suspect then pistol whips the hostage, forcing him to the ground.
During the robbery, the crook threatened a 4-year old boy that looks as if he belongs to an employee. After what looks like quick pleading, an employee behind the counter convinces the suspect to let the child go.
