In Elie Wiesel’s book Night he infers that in survival situations someone will start losing their sense of humanity. The situation in Wiesel’s book describes his own time trying to survive the Holocaust with his father and other members of their community. They themselves have a hard time trying to keep their humanity and not act like the others. Elie Wiesel explains situations in his book to help us understand how humanity is lost as they have to try harder to survive.
