There are many books with greats survival strategies. Brian in the hatchet, Timothy and Philip in the cay, and Samuel in the Woods Runner. Specifically Timothy and Philip in the cay. Timothy has a correct survival plan because He looked for food, built a shelter and made sos signs. Timothy’s plan for survival was correct because He built a shelter. In the book the Cay page 63 it state “ He was making a hut of dried palm fronds.” This shows that Timothy knew he needed to build a shelter to survive. Also In the article How to survive on a desert island it says “Having a shelter is essential.” this proves that Timothy was correct in making a shelter to survive because the hut gives him protection.
