Fort Collins Yellow Cab traces its roots back to taxi companies that were started in 1924. Our Yellow Cab brand has been continuously maintained for over 70 years, and we currently operate over 500 taxicabs in Colorado. With a fleet of over 50 taxis in Northern Colorado, we complete over 200,000 passenger trips annually. Our taxi service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. We are constantly working to ensure that our drivers have the finest tools available in order to provide the best and most punctual service possible.

Over the years, we have been a pioneer in many areas including the first to implement Dispatch radio, GPS dispatch and other communications-oriented technologies. Yellow Cab was the first to introduce "green" fueled vehicles with Toyota Prius Hybrids and propane-powered Crown Victoria's. We have been a committed partner to City and County governments in their growth and development, and are very proud to serve Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and the surrounding communities.

We are very proud of our Mobility Plus service that we provide to medical patients, elderly passengers, and people with disabilities. We operate Colorado's largest fleet of wheelchair accessible taxis, and in partnership with agencies like Medicaid and city paratransit, we transport people to cancer treatments, dialysis, and many other types of medical appointments. Our drivers are trained to care for passengers with sensitivity and compassion.

Yellow Cab is owned by Veolia Transportation, a leader in providing transportation services – including bus, rail, paratransit, shuttle, sedan and taxi – in 200 locations in the US and Canada. Veolia Transportation is the largest operator of taxicab services in Baltimore, Boulder, Denver, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, and Northern Colorado operating approximately 2,400 taxis and providing some 20 million passenger trips per year via taxi.

Sustain ability commitment
Sustainability
In 2008, we led the nation in introducing hybrid taxis into our fleet. We are committed to reducing our emissions and our carbon footprint, and are planning to add more hybrid and propane vehicles to our fleet each year.

Our drivers and passengers are delighted with the fuel efficiency and the quiet ride in our hybrid vehicles, and we are thrilled that the response has been so positive.

We are part of Veolia Environnement, a leading environmental solutions company, and have a deep commitment to making sure that our operations are taking steps to become more "green" in our daily practices, facilities and offices.

Fort Collins Yellow Cab was awarded a Gold membership from the City of Fort Collins' Climate Wise program in 2011.
Customers
Passenger Care
In everything we do, we have a philosophy of delivering superior performance. We are committed to providing safe, reliable, on-time taxi service, and we train our drivers to take care of each customer, providing each one with a safe, comfortable and pleasant experience.

Our drivers are courteous and helpful toward our passengers. They are trained to listen actively to customer needs, and expected to treat them with courtesy and respect. We count on them to display a positive attitude, handle baggage carefully, and maintain our dress code and our standards for clean, well-maintained vehicles.

We work hard to ensure that our phone personnel are polite and well-trained, too. We strive to take excellent care of each caller and make sure reservations are entered accurately. We use the most sophisticated dispatch and reservation systems in our industry, and have developed efficient processes to ensure good communication between the call center, dispatchers and drivers. Our call center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Northern Colorado Yellow Cab is committed to providing the best service to our customers. We constantly strive for improvement through the use of customer feedback as a gauge to learn what we are doing
