“THE WIZARD OF OZ” The Wizard of Oz was released in the year 1939, which means it is an old film produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The film has many interesting things which people really appreciated and gave positive regards and reviews regarding it but it was observed that the movie at beginning could not earn much in the box office and was going in a loss in its early period of time (Rudolph). Kansas was a city which was said to be very old and dry, it was seen in black and white color and some people also said that it was in gray color. There were some Indian Territory symbols too but these symbols were not very clear to everyone because not everyone has the power to know or observe the hidden messages or the figurative meanings of the scenes shown and much more. I have observed many interesting things in this film; the witch is not a good person and due to her evil and bad acts and mind set she is killed with no good happening to her which means if we become evil and do bad stuff same or somewhat same will happen to us which is not exciting at all according to my point of view. The beautiful girl Dorothy is very intelligent and a good girl with not harming anyone and remains to be firm and strong due to which he ends up with a good result or we can say a positive reward ofcourse, all of these positive attributes represents America (Rockoff, 1990). The logic is that to earn power or to have good status we need to pick the good and legal path which would not bring any harm to us or to the people around us which is I think the best of all, similar message is being delivered in the film. I think Baum tried his best in making this fairy tale also related to the reality structure of our society but in a very fine and firm way which not everyone can understand and pick. This movie is also related to the time when women started to become independent and started raising their voice for their rights and demands to be fulfilled
