There are several major differences between the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) and with the Gospel of John. The Synoptic Gospels are all similar, they all have a common view in their theme, events that took place and so forth, whereas, the Gospel of John is greatly different from them by not sharing the same common views. In John, there is no depiction of the virginal birth of Jesus Christ, as well as no mention to the fact of Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist (Harris, 2014).
