My research question is how will the Syrian refugees affect the US economically. My tentative claim, in response, is that the US has to be cautious about accepting a large number of Syrian refugees because they could damage our economy. Some reasons/ evidence that support my claim are 1) there is a very large number of Syrian refugees and if we accept too many they might overwhelm our economy and 2)a few countries (Germany, Sweden, and Turkey) have become concerned about their own economy because the Syrians are overwhelming it, which means a similar thing can happen to America.
