TAT2 Task 1: Integration Design
Adult participants from an online fitness accountability group endeavored to develop better sleeping patterns as part of their overall goal to improve healthy behaviors. This weeklong unit of instruction would include seven hours of synchronous online learning and seven hours of asynchronous offline application. The unit would teach participants to create positive sleep behaviors and turn them into sustainable habits using a structured habit-development process.

Instructional Goal
Participants of two online fitness support groups will design positive sleep habits and practice integrating them into their nighttime routines.

Instructional Objectives
The following instructional objectives were used in this lesson plan.
• Performance Objective 1: Given reference materials and a multiple choice assessment, participant will select at least two of three correct answers in each of the two areas: sleep benefits and risks associated with low quality sleep.
• Performance Objective 2: Given reference materials and a multiple choice assessment, participant will select at least two of three correct answers in the three areas: definition of sleep behaviors, positive sleep behaviors, and negative sleep behaviors.

The instructor would also need access to a video-conferencing tool that would work on both Windows and Apple computers. Google Hangouts created by Google Inc. (2013; 2016b) was recommended because participants were already familiar with it and it can be used for free. The ability to take notes on the computer was required as well, as the instructor would need to copy and paste information during the daily video
