Tai Chi Chuan, (pronounced tie chee chew-wan),or more commonly known as Tai Chi translates to “supreme ultimate fist” or “supreme ultimate boxing” is an ancient Chinese exercise which was originally used as a form of martial arts, it is also very popular in Chinese culture and is slowly influencing the western culture through media. Scutti Susan an online journalist said, “Tai Chi has been practised for much longer than four hundred years, it is believed whether or not its exact origin can be determined.” Scutti also stated “Based on data obtained from National Health Interview survey, an estimated two point five million people individuals practise Tai Chi in the U.S alone”
This exercise can be practised alone or in large groups by different people between various ages, it is almost compared to yoga, and like yoga Tai Chi
