The documentary Tapped was released on July 31, 2009 and was directed by Stephanie Soechtig and Jason Lindsey. It was filmed in the USA. The film Tapped is about the ecological impact that the bottled water industry has and the toxic byproducts of making the plastic bottles. The argument they are trying to make is that the manufacturing of plastic bottles needs to stop, to not only protect the environment as a whole, but ourselves as well. The documentary was very effective in conveying their message because they were able to present facts and information by certified experts to present their side and prove that they are right with their claim. It used the Aristotelian rhetorical appeals very well also with the logos appeal being more predominant in the film. There was a vast amount of reasons and proof against the bottled water industry given by experts.

The filmmakers were able to bring in many experts to talk and share their findings about the bottled water. Experts such as Frederick Vom Saal, a University of Missouri Biologist, stated their findings about the bottle water. He found the BPA and other chemicals in the water. Tests were conducted to verify all these findings, which were verified by others.All the sources and experts used were credible and they were able to deliver their information confidently and accurately. The film contains a vast amount of experts who were prepared to support the case of Soechtig and Linsey. An excellent job was done in bringing in experts for the different topics brought up during this film. They didn't use only a couple of people to support them, they used a variety of experts who were educated in that area and who had some experience with this problem. The ethos portion of the film ties in with the logos as well because all the data and results were presented by the experts, so their credibility can be seen with those tests that they
