1. I: C,D
II: troposphere
III: convection
IIII: thermosphere
2. Even though Mariner 10 made three trips around Mercury, it was only able to capture one half of the surface. This was because Mariner 10 used a technique called gravity assist which allow a single spacecraft to survey more than one planet. During the three visits Mariner 10 made to Mercury, it just so happened to be the same side every single time. Thus only allowing it to capture one hemisphere of the planet.
3. The ejecta blanket on a Mercurian crater is only half as wide as the Lunar crater. The reason behind this is because the gravity of Mercury being stronger than the moon. The impact ejecta flung out from a crater forming can't travel as far on Mercury as appose on the Moon. And so it falls back closer to the crater rim to form a narrower ejecta blanket.
4. I: heavily cratered uplands
II: the intercrater plains are more highly cratered than the smooth plains.
III: smooth plains
IV: false. Mercurian smooth plains have something that looks similar but not the same as Wrinkle ridges.
V: True
VI: In order for a lobate scarp to be form, an action known as "thrust fault” occurs. When part of the crust is compressed, it breaks off along a plane that is inclined to the planet surface. This continuing compression causes the crust on one side of the zone to thrust up onto to the other crust which produces an overhang. But since the overhang is unstable it collapses due to its own weight and
