Young turtle is starting to remember her birth mother and how she died, and sadly even watching her get buried. But she has also remembered her own name and its April. She’s learning to live and laugh and love and how to be a smart little girl. But she didn’t learn these things on her own she learned them from Taylor, Taylor taught her how to speak and have the imagination that a young lady needs to have. Taylor helps her see the brighter side of things and helps her move on from the past that affected her so young. This child has spent a lot of time with Taylor and established a real trust and connection with her, to take her away from the women she will know as her primary caregiver and motherly figure would be to return the young girl to the sadness and fears that Taylor has helped her comes to terms with and not be afraid of
