Taylor took one last reluctant look of her surroundings, before entering the time machine and settling in the plush armchair. With a slight poof, the hatch opened, and she stepped out into the futuristic world. The time machine had landed amidst what seemed like the busiest part of the town. Large self-driving cars maneuvered themselves around her, while drones flew around advertising ice cream brands. Children rode around on motorized hoverboards, heads deep into their gadgets, but the most surprising thing was yet for Taylor to discover.
