How Rhetorical Techniques apply to Tea Uglow’s Speech
Tea Uglow, the speaker who is a designer working in Google, a company which aims to create a future with screens, would like to break the rule by giving the speech in order to create the future as simple without the screen. He started the speech by imagery to let audience consider the happy place and explain our human without the screen in future will become more joyful. During the speech, he shared his own experience to support his explanation. At the end of the speech, he presented his own feeling on how to create the future as simple. Tea has applied different types of rhetorical techniques to make his speech effective and successful.

He quoted different companies which he has worked for and showed how those companies create and work the simple objects. For example, he mentioned Berg design company just like YouTube player that he thinks is more inspiration to him. Nevertheless, it made the audience feel Tea’s idea was possible and trustful, meanwhile attracting them to listen to Tea in what way to complete his future plan.
