Technology has changed a lot of things in our lives. Technical inventions which has changed everything we do today. The biggest change came from the invention of the mobile phone. Ten years ago if the people were to think that everyone and their mother would have a cell phone, then they would have been looked at as though they were crazy. When the first cell phone came out only elite had it and they were considered to be bulky, and the call quality of these phones was absent. It was the building block of one biggest change yet. The mobile phone has changed for the last ten years. The first mobile phone was weighing in at 2 pounds and coasted $4000 which is ten time more than the ones today. The first cell phone came out in 1973 but did not hit the stores until 1983. When it came out the first cell phone was named DynaTAC 8000x, and was created by Dr. Martin Cooper. It was the first phone to it the market with Motorola where Martin Cooper worked.
Cell phones have had a positive impact on our lives. Cell phones are great to have in case of an emergency. For example, if someone’s car breaks down, or they run out of gas, they have a way of calling for help. Cell phones are an excellent source for communication. No matter where you are, or what time of the day, you can call anyone else who has a phone. Using a cell phone is a lot more convenient than having to have fifty cents with you for a pay phone.
