All of the versions of “The Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allan Poe profoundly expressed the theme of the story. The overall theme mentioned throughout the story was Guilt. The Three versions all focused on the same theme. The Black & White version of the story provided the best explanation of the theme because it went through details of the story and prolonged the scene of confession and guilt. In the other two versions, the scene/text used to explain the theme weren’t as long and detailed. The director of the short film must have spent a long time focusing on the theme of the story. The Three versions all focused on the same theme. The different versions of “The Tell-Tale Heart” are all similar in many ways. In both the cartoon and written
