Did you know that her an across Canada with a prosthetic leg to raise money for cancer research? Did you know while running across Canada he raised over twenty four million dollars towards Cancer research, and years later The Terry Fox foundation has raised over 700 million? Terry Fox is respected because he raised money for cancer research, he taught kids to never give up, and because he ran across Canada with a Prosthetic leg.

Terry Fox achieved many amazing things during his lifetime. When he attempted to run across Canada, he ran 5374 kilometers in 143 days. That seems very challenging and difficult , right? But don’t forget he even did it with his prosthetic leg. While running across Canada raising money for cancer research, he achieved his goal. Not only did he achieve his goal, but he exceeded it. He raised over $24 million dollars

Terry Fox was very determined to achieve his goals in life. While running across Canada, he wanted to do it so bad, he didn’t give up. The days he was tired, sick, or wanted a day off, he didn’t stop and he kept running. Terry Fox was also very courageous. When Terry knew the cancer spread to his lungs, he wasn’t scared. He was brave and had hope, so he just kept on running. Terry Fox was a man who cared about others, as much as he cared about himself. He would visit the children’s hospital to visit kids and he inspired them, and he cared about them. He cared about everyone. Terry Fox had many good character traits.

I think everyone should remember Terry Fox. Terry Fox was a very inspirational and determined person who cared a lot about others. He always did the right thing.
