“A confused women who ends up finding the path”
A Heart filled song with lyrics most listeners like to argue. Author is Led Zeppelin, released in
1971 called “Stairway to Heaven”. “Stairway to Heaven” tells the story about a women who thinks currency can earn her way to god. She has second thoughts about religion, yet still wants to believe.
The women contemplates her morals from losing faith. “Stairway to heaven” is really about a women who struggles till the end, to finally find god.
The opening lyrics begins describing a women's prospective on religion. In the first three verses describes her second guessing her faith. We know shes starting to feel disbelief because “Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven.” In the back of her head a voice is pulling her away, yet she holds on because she still believes in her heart. This is just the first step of becoming a strong believer. The women's doubts develop different angles that makes her curious and indescribable.
The start of the next two verses explains the women becoming more comfortable with religion again. Except this time as a new way of reaching god. We know this because “There's still time to change the road you're on”, suggest that there are different ways to the “Stairway to Heaven.” No matter what steps you take, the next one can be the right one. The next verses the women finally becomes closer to god. Her thoughts are starting to become more clear as she drifts closer to that stairway. Finally the start of the last two verses begin by her questioning once again. Then you get this connection with the overall lyrics in the last two verses, that she finally starts to believe.
