Through the high technological advances, individuals are now attached to their cell phones. This causes numerous individuals to text while they are driving, thus causing fatal accidents. As a result of texting while driving, eleven teens die every day. In order to develop a solution to help stem the growing epidemic of texting while driving, more information as well as data is required. For example, it is beneficial to know the number of accidents that occur as well age group and regions in which there are a high number of accidents happening. The one solution that can help reduce the number of accidents that occur from texting while driving is to portray the outcomes of texting and driving, the risks, as well as the harmful effects it has. …show more content…
Just like during the wartime, propaganda is an excellent way of inspiring people, in this case to inspire people to not text while driving. Also, companies can create commercials and advertisements through the radio, television, and social media, depending on the age group, and promote driving safely. Moreover, schools should also instruct the children from a young age to follow the rules, specifically to follow the rules of the road. Schools should likewise establish activities for teenagers, like inviting presenters to come to the school, and advise the teens to never text while driving. All these are ways to reduce the number of accidents that occur from texting while driving; these are ways to promote safer driving methods as well as not texting while driving.
