This is the first book I have ready by Brian O'Hare and it certainly won't be the last. A riveting novel from the beginning to the end, The 11:05 Murders will please both mystery and crime thriller fans alike.

Set in Northern Ireland, Chief Inspector Jim Sheehan and his department are investigating murders that occur at exactly 11:05 pm on three consecutive Tuesdays. The background of these murders is related to a traumatic event that occurred 12 years prior as detailed in the prologue of the book. We are then thrust into the police investigation to determine how the events are linked and who the culprit is.

The police unit is a unique team of investigators led by Chief Inspector Sheehan. He is a strong, smart leader who keeps his team on track and focused in the investigation. Working alongside Sheehan is Detective Denise Stewart, a young, beautiful woman who was promoted to her position following a police corruption scandal at her previous post. She has endured sexual harassment working in this predominately male environment and we are often reminded of this throughout the book. Understandably she starts her new position with a chip on her shoulder which we see dissipate soon enough as she develops relationships professionally and personally with her team.
