“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that wont work” is a very broad quote reflecting on a students journey though trying to master the art of learning or getting through issues. Figuring out the best decision doesn't always have to be about learning when it can be about real life scenarios as well. Learning by itself is a major task for almost everyone and in some cases many do not learn easy. There are many ways to study certain material and for certain subjects certain ways of studying work best. There is also many options to approach certain real life issues away from school, and through that somebody may have to try multiple things before they figure out what works. In the story, “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian”, a young man who goes by the name Junior has a dream of getting an education. He leaves his home on the Spokane Tribe reservation to pursue his dream of basketball and education. One thing that Junior found out did not work to help him prepare for his future was where he lived. Junior was bullied and pushed around on his old reservation and he finally decided that was not working for him. Junior immediately runs into problems just like on the old reservation. He runs into a bully named Roger. Now Junior has been through bullies in the past so he knows that having that around again is not going to help him reach his goal. Using his prior knowledge Junior is able to befriend his bully and become really close friends. Even at one point Roger, Juniors bully, loans Junior money to help him out when he needs it.
