Paradox: A statement that contradicts itself and still seems true somehow.
The “American Dream” of the Navajo people is to live in America but keep their Navajo language and culture alive. They want to be able to stay home on the reservation but with little jobs, they have to venture out and get jobs in Las Vegas, New York, and other big cities. We thought we could put them off to the side and forget about them but we can’t they are part of our history/culture and we need to accept that.
One paradox would be the “American Dream” of the Navajo people, because the Navajo people are already American. Saying, the “American Dream” is assuming that the Navajo are immigrants who came to America to get a better life, when actually their ancestors have
