I believe that the antagonist in Frankenstein is the Creature. There are many events in the story that led me to believe this. Dr. Frankenstein wasn’t the antagonist because the antagonist in a story is trying to prevent the protagonist from something. In this case, the antagonist the Creature was preventing the protagonist Frankenstein from happiness. Frankenstein's intentions were good the whole time. Sure, some people will say he is evil, because he was bringing dead people back to life and that shouldn’t happen. However, everyone grieves differently, I make jokes and humor and in this case, Frankenstein wanted to make a difference in the world, and bring people back to life after he lost his mother.
