Book Report

Exposition- In the beginning, It starts with the three children, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire and Mr.Poe on the grounds of the Prufrock Preparatory School.Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire meet Carmelita Spats, a rude girl who calls the Baudelaire orphans "cakesniffers". Mr. Poe tells the children to go to Vice Principal Nero's office. On their way there, they notice the school's motto: Memento mori(Remember You Will Die).

Rising Action- They go to meet Vice Principal Nero, the arrogant head of the school. He explains the rules of Prufrock Prep, And say the children will live in the "Orphans' Shack". He also explains that Sunny will have to work as his assistant,

Antagonist-The antagonist is Count Olaf because he is an evil man and is 100% there throughout this and all the other books. This proves my answer because the antagonist is a constant bad guy throughout the book etc.

Setting- The book The Austere Academy has a couple different setting but the main setting is in the Prufrock Preparatory School, Because more than the first half of the book is them in the Prufrock Preparatory School dealing with their problems.
