Year round school is a positive thing because students get more breaks throughout the year, teachers don’t have to reteach students,and students get higher academic scores.

Sources have evidence of statistics of students having higher academic grades. A study shows that in Oxnard,California they have improved their academic scores drastically. With this in mind, many schools have resulted in a higher academic achievement scores because. Shorter breaks decreases the amount of students that forget what they learned.

Students and teachers need more frequent breaks so they don’t get burnt out of energy and information.Students and teachers tend to have more of a positive attitude about school because they get to have breaks. Students are not as stressed since the have more frequent breaks.Students won’t forget what they have learned over the long stretched out summer break.
