On Thursday January 21st I read to my friend Izzy The California Raisins: Raisin’ the Roof, The Berenstain Bears Go to The Doctor, and Izzy the Ice Cream Fairy. The California Raisins: Raisin’ the Roof is about a band of raisins that visits the town of Bottonlip where no one is allowed to make noise. The raisins think that this is ridiculous so they go to the city council to change the rule. They find out that there are holes in the roof of the city council building but they can’t pay for a new roof. The raisins get an idea to hold a benefit concert for the city council and at the end the council is so overjoyed they allow music and noise back into the town.
