The boy in the striped pajamas is a movie that came out in 2008.The movie takes place in a holocaust enviorment. The whole movie started when the father of the main character; Bruno, Got a job promotion as a nazi leader at labor camp. They had to move into a new house that was closer to the labor camp so it’d be more convenient. When the family moves bruno is forced to find new friends. Bruno can’t make any friends because the new house in the middle of nowhere, they can’t even go to school; schools comes to him. After a long time of being stuck Bruno goes exploring. While he is exploring he stumbles upon the back fence to the labor camp; he doesn’t know that it’s a labor camp. At the fence he finds a jewish boy named small; who is his age. After the first day Bruno continues to come back, he comes back with food for small. Bruno and small become good friends even though they’re restricted by a giant fence. In the end Bruno and small get the idea to go find smalls dad. They did a hole under the fence and bruno crawls under. While looking for smalls dad in the labor camp, Bruno and Small get stuck in a passing block going to ,”take a shower”, and they die. It’s just so wrong that you would kill off an entire group of people because of who they were or because you don’t like them. The movie showed disturbing yet true things. For example, when the family had a small gathering with one of the fathers fellow guards. The guard asked for some more wine; as the jew started pouring the wine, he accidentally spilled some. The friend got up and started beating the jew to death until he was dead. There were a few more scenes similar to that one. There was also a scene in the labor camps like this one; it was somewhat disturbing as
