The Brazilian REAL and The Chinese RMB
All countries’ currencies in the world are unique. Distinctly, the currencies are different from one another in shape, size, color, symbols, and security. Many people may think that the Brazilian REAL and the Chinese RMB completely have nothing in common, because Brazil and China are in different hemispheres. On the contrary, the Brazilian REAL and the Chinese RMB not only have some differences, but also share many surprising similarities.
Firstly, the Brazilian REAL and the Chinese RMB have some same and different aspects in shape and size. Both the REAL and the RMB are rectangles. Like RMB, the REAL is that different bills have different sizes, which mean different values. The Brazilian REAL is similar to the Chinese RMB that the sizes of the bills enlarge with the increases of the values. Contrast from the size, the Chinese RMB is bigger than the Brazilian REAL. In general, these two different currencies, the Brazilian REAL and the Chinese RMB, have some same areas in the shape and size.
Secondly, the Brazilian REAL and the Chinese RMB have many similarities of the color, but there are some differences of the pictures on the money. The Brazilian REALS are colorful and vivid in different bills; likewise, the Chinese RMB has many different colors for different bills. For example, the 2 REALS is blue with white, and the 10 RMB is blue and green with white. The Chinese RMB has a photo of Mao who was the first president of the China on the front of bills, whereas the Brazilian REAL has the picture named “Efigie”, which means Brazilian Republic, but is not a real person, on the front of the money. Like the front of the bills, the pictures on the back of the bills are all different. The REAL has a picture of one of animals that live in the Brazil, but the RMB has a picture that is an amazing view of the China on the back of the bill. Actually, although the Brazilian REAL and the Chinese RMB are all colorful, their designers always have different ideas about symbols on the bills.
Last but not least, both the Brazilian REAL and the Chinese RMB have the money secure systems, but the securities are different on the bills. Both of them have holograms and watermarks.
