The cardiovascular System
The circulatory system (also names as the cardiovascular system) form up the network that delivers blood to the body’s tissues. Witch each heartbeat, blood is sent throughout our bodies, carting nutrients and oxygen to all of our cells.
The circulatory systemic composed of the heart and blood vessels, including arteries, veins and capillaries. Everyone’s body’s actually have two circulatory systems: The pulmonary circulation is a short loop from the heart to the lungs and back again, it circulates oxygen poor blood back to the lungs and the systemic circulation (the system we usually think of as our circulatory system) sends blood from the heart to all the other parts of the body and back all over again, this circulates oxygen rich blood throe body.
The cardiovascular system is responsible for transporting nutrients and removing gaseous waster frim the body. This system is comprised of the heart and the circulatory system. Structures of the cardiovascular system include the heart, blood vessels, and blood. The lymphatic system is also closely associated with the cardiovascular system.
The heart is the primary muscle in the body, it beats continuously and provides the tissues and cells with oxygen and nutrients. The heart is divided in to four chambers, which are: the top two chambers- atria, Lower two chambers- ventricles- more muscular than atria as these are the main groups, Muscular wall in the middle- Septum dividing the heart. The organ that supplies oxygen and blood to all parts of the body is the heart. This muscle produces electrical impulses through a process called cardiac conduction. All these impulses cause the heart to contract and then relax; producing what is known as a heartbeat. The beating of the heart drives the cardiac cycle which then pumps the blood to cells and tissues of the body. Blood vessels
Blood vessels are intricate networks of hollow tubes that transport blood throughout the entire body. The blood travels from the heart via arteries to smaller, then to capillaries or sinusoids, to venuls, then to veins and at last back to the heart. Through the process of microcirculation, substances such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, nutrients, and the wastes that are exchanged between the blood and the fluid that surrounds cells.
