The documentary I watched focused on caves. I’ve learned that even though, today, caves are the least examined places on Earth, they are very interesting. Below our feet there are cave shafts and passages that can go on for an infinite number of miles. The Cave of Swallows, found in Mexico, is so great in depth that it’s able to immerse the Empire State Building. These dark and moist areas are rarely approached by human beings, but many unusual creatures reside in caves. Since caves are so dark, the creatures create little lights in order to survive living through the darkness. Glow-worm’s were one of the creatures that the documentary discussed.
