This novel's main conflict is man Vs. fate. This novel's conflict is man Vs. fate of many reasons. First, it is character Vs fate because, Arthur and Sir Ector didn't know who was Arthur's parents, so that means he could be an heir, just nobody knew it, while there was probably many people claiming to be an heir. Second, he took the sword from the stone, unlike most of the strongest people in the tournament who were trying but failed. third, Merlin the Wizard guided Ector to raise Arthur because he knew Arthur was special and thought that he would be important someday. As you can see, this story’s conflict is man vs fate for many reasons.
