The Declaration of Independence: An Unstable Truth makes many claims throughout the text. White examines the declaration of independence and concludes that the causes and the claim made are contradictory to its intended message. The first paragraph has a subtle tone where the voice seems to be far removed, but as the text goes on it starts to loose the essence of what the declaration of Independence literally stands for. Refereeing to contextual and textual evidence from the text itself to make and prove the contradictions being implicated by the text itself.
