Smartphones in younger generations have become a recurring issue of debate today. It is crucial to establish an ideal age, and or phase, at which kids should be allowed to integrate smartphones and the internet into their lives, in order to protect them from the cyber threats while still providing them with the tools and advantages that these devices offer. Nowadays many teens have become addicted to their smartphones and have abandoned interpersonal relationships (Technology and Parenting 1). This is something that will greatly affect them later on when they decide to join the workforce since many employers look for communication skills lacking among lifelong smartphone addicts (Bauerlein).
