Anabolic steroids are manmade drugs that are synthetic variations of the male sex hormone testosterone that copycats some of its effects. This type of steroid helps with the growth of the skeleton muscles and help to increase strength. Testosterones help the body build bone mass and muscle. All males have testosterones and this steroid works when the male is going through puberty but also throughout life.
