The Fall Out Boy created a song call “Alone Together” as a part of The Young Blood Chronicles video, number four out of eleven, that basically explains how the band stays together through tortures by women in different settings. Alone Together has helped me through my problem that pertains to me being alone by myself, but in a way with others. The three literary elements that identify the meanings in this song are diction, imagery, and simile. The critical strategy reader response identifies how the reader reads and listens to the song with taking it into their own meaning or what they think the author has said. Not to mention that also in this song a great imagery is when they use the word, maniac because I can actually picture a tall guy ripping chains off of him and going crazy with them. “You cut me off, I lost my track It's not my fault, I'm a maniac It's not funny anymore, no it's not” (The Fall Out Boy). This is a really good verse because you get a lot of ideas going through you head trying to figure out what they mean by that. In addition, diction is used in how and what they mean by it’s not funny. I personally do know but it could be used as them having fun and laughing when it did happen but at that moment he was serious and it’s not funny anymore, like something bad has happened.
