Although, Daisy loved all the attention that Gatsby showered her with, she could never genuinely be in love with him. Therefore, Gatsby’s love for Daisy lead to his own death.
Although, Daisy and Gatsby were having an affair, they had a fight and so Gatsby let Daisy drive his car. Therefore, because Daisy being behind the wheel it cost someone else their own life.
