There are many conflicts in The Great Gatsby. One conflict that stuck out to me is the internal conflict that Gatsby has with himself. By reading the book, we know that Gatsby was once a poor man, and couldn’t win over Daisy because he didn’t have the money to do so. Later on, he does everything he can to forget his past and try to impress Daisy since he is now a rich man.
