The Better Ending The day was smoldering. We could hardly move from our seats within the Buchanan’s home room where we lounged surrounded by the swirling of the too weak fans. Jay Gatsby, in his bright pink suit, stared across at Daisy in her light blue sparkling dress, starting a silent conversation with the hopeful spirit in his eyes. Tom, Daisy’s husband, glared lazily toward Gatsby, a pure loathing caged inside, only disguised as the calm gentleman in thinning layers. Jordyn Baker positioned herself near the window at the focus of the blistering chamber, expectant of the imminent brawl to ensue between the two men. I, on the other hand, observed ever transforming world of humanity through the narrow gateway of the imperceptible hole I
