I actually decided to do this post on two of my favorite movies. One is The Heathers and the other is Fear. They both start off as typical girl meets boy love stories and then things start to get interesting. There is a mixture of mystery, suspense, comedy, and romance in these films. I grew up watching these movies, which made me want to be very careful when getting involved in new relationships just in case he turned out to be some psychopath which is basically what happened in these movies.
In The Heathers the protagonist is Veronica, a teen that happens to be a part of the most popular clique in school, the Heathers. (The other girls in the group were all named Heather). The antagonist is the new guy in school that Veronica met and started dating. Veronica goes out with the leader of the Heathers one night and embarrasses her so the next morning she, along with her new boyfriend, goes to her house and tries to make it up to her but Heather threatens to tell everyone in school what happened. Everything between them is great at first, except the fact that Nicole's father does not approve. He starts looking into David and finds out he's lied about his life. He bans Nicole from seeing David, which like most teenage girls, just made her rebel against him and see David behind his back. Until one day she sees him having sex with her best friend then she decides to leave him alone for good, which sets him off the deep end. The plot twist is he turns out to be crazy, he starts stalking her, kills her other best friend and then breaks into her house with his friends and tries to kill her family. All of his friends die and then the movie ends with David falling out of the window after fighting with Nicole's
