One of the most famous fairy tales that resonate with me from my childhood would have to be “Jack and the Beanstalk”. Jack was a young man who was raised by a single mother. Ironically jack’s mother struggles to provide for her son and was forced to sell the only thing she had left, a cow. She send young Jack to the market so that he could sell the cow, but instead he traded it for a bag of magic beans. Fairy tales are no different from superhero stories because the both tell the story of an individual who journey’s to find what is missing in psyche to make them complete. These heroes travel through numerous struggles in order to regain control of their individual consciousness.
