Holodomor can mean “Hunger”. Holodomor was the name that was given to the starvation in the Ukrainian Famine (UF) in 1932. The names of the genocides are the Holocaust and Holodomor. The Holocaust took place in Germany and Poland, the Holodomor Genocide took place in the 1930s. In the Holocaust, there were a lot of people who went against the Nazi’s, in Holodomor, there were a lot of riots that happened between them and the Soviets.
The cause of The Holodomor Genocide was because the people went starving for food, their country couldn’t afford its crops. It has been estimated that “Driven to madness by hunger people were ripping the meat of the dead animals. The stronger ones were getting bigger pieces.
