1. Marin dreams of marrying a rich man who loves her and who can take care of her. Her goal s to find a guy. Esperanza's opinion of Marin is that she is a good role model. Marin is not a good role model for Esperanza because she is going to a path that can be dangerous for girls. This path path is dangerous because she can marry a masty guy or a guy who abuses her or she can even be one in a million of girls the guy has.
2. If Marin's dream came true she should live happily with a man who can care for her, or she can live a pathetic life with a horrible greety mean husband. My advice to her if her dream comes true she should have a layer ready to get at least half of his things, if it is that things don't work out.
3. If Marin never reached her goal she wold have to go back to Puerto Rico. My advie to her is NOT to marry her boyfriend. Her dream is to be cared for, not to care for her husband. Also, to get a good education maybe she'll meet a cute smart guy in school. He will probably have good maney since he got an education and she'll have her dream come true.

Esperanza's relationship with alicia has changed ince "Cathy Queen of Cats" because Esperanza likes Alica and doesn't thinl of her as a stuck up. There is no evidence saying she is stuck up. Esperanza doesn't say anything bad about Alicia in this chapter. Alicia's portrait is a nice decent girl who wokd for what she wants and needs.
