Hundred Years War is a series of conflict between English and France from 1337 to 1453. It is not only a war between two kingdom, but also a revolution in Literature. During the war, English and French fight over several issues, including claim of the French throne.
Because of the war with France, many English regarded French as the enemy’s language, and the language of English began to be used in all levels of English society. As the results, English became the official language of England, and Oxford and Cambridge Universities were founded. Books and articles were translated into English.
