When I hear the name Frankenstein, it invokes an imagery of evil and monsters which could be due to societal prejudges. Before reading the book, I always thought the monster was named Frankenstein and didn’t really know much about the “creator.” After reading the first few chapters of the book, I actually like Frankenstein and his pursuit for knowledge; though he started with the best of intentions and his pure thirst for knowledge, it probably started going downhill when he decided to mingle with the laws of nature and creation.
