America’s gift to my generation is that we have many opportunities, and also the technology that we have is helping us learn more. Our army is great, they help us fight across countries to protect us. I think they should get all the thanks from America for sacrificing their lives to make our country safe.

I veterans are the greatest gift America has, but there are also other people that help around in our states. These people are police, and they deal with little problems that we have in cities and states. For example, during Hurricane Harvey the police donated and took care of people around Houston. They people ahead of themselves and that is what make America a gift.

People have been fighting in the army for centuries and making the country great. People treated veterans bad after Vietnam.Treating veterans like that after they risked their lives in other countries to protect us is disrespectful. Nobody that risked their life to save someone should be treated bad win or loss. People ask themselves why do police get more recognition than veterans. Well it's mostly because police fight all around our country, but people in the army fight in other countries and are barely noticed.

Veterans should be given more care from the best doctors and given care when they get old. I don’t think they should have to pay taxes or bills anymore, but that might be taking it too far. One last thing is that America and the army shouldn’t be pushed into wars that the president has thrown upon us from his mistakes.
