Specifically to this case, Cates is nervous about losing his freedom and Drummond is focused on winning the case. The focus required could potentially lead to paranoia and clouded thoughts. The consequence of lacking positivity occurs at the end of the trial when Brady dies from stress-eating, or as Hornbeck calls it, “a busted belly” (Lawrence and Lee 125). Reflection: I chose this quote because laughter means a thousand words to me. Laughter makes a person look more beautiful and happier. This advice can relate to students because of the constant stress from classes and homework. Everyone needs a reminder to smile so that he does not lose himself. Also, for the people suffering from depression, there is nothing like laughter to soothe their mind and have a more positive outlook on life.
