On December 14, 2012, 20-year-old man killed 26 people, 20 of them children, in an attack on Sandy Hook Elementary in central Connecticut. The numbers of mass shootings in America are only on the increase. The time has come to be proactive. To prevent people from coming into schools and committing the act of mass murder, we need to allow the helpless kids in these schools help themselves. We need to give the children guns.
