I intend on staying involved in the American Red Cross Club. Volunteering for this organization and making sure blood drives run smoothly is important, especially when considering the sheer need for blood transfusions. Recent events such as Hurricane Harvey and Irma remind us that there is always a need for blood, especially in the wake of unexpected natural disasters. Taking time out of my schedule to help at a blood drive is something that I feel is rewarding and helpful; I feel obligated to do so.

A family sat around the dining table, each member intently reading a book while occasionally picking up their fork to eat. It was almost as if eating was an afterthought when compared to the salient task: reading. You could call this a normal
